Global Tekno 2: the missed point.

I thought the Purple Prose people were hot shots.
but still some of them don't seem to get it...

The main problems of GT2:
- The Global Tekno 2 exhibit is held in an art gallery
- which makes it an institutional show
- and adds yet more noise to the busy techno signal.

What GT2 should tell you:
- When you go to NYC (don't go to West 22nd Street) visit Liquid Sky on Lafayette.
- Until then visit your neibourhood's Liquid Sky clone.
- Get in a dance record shop (likely to be that Liquid Sky clone) and grab a few flyers.
- While you're in this shop purchase a couple of Sun Electric CDs
and get the Designers Republic art work for free,
not a fancy reproduction for dead art collectors
- and please don't stick it on your wall
unless it is to interact with it.
I'm sure you'll enjoy throwing darts at most Electric Sun covers;)

GT2 is the representation of what is presented all around us.
All we have to do is open our eyes and our ears.

The only thing on which GT2 and I seem to agree is that
techno is not a new kind of music
but a new kind of kind.

If you have time to waste in Paris:
Global Tekno 2
Passage de Retz
9, rue Charlot
... until September.
