From dust to AC
by Andrei Rublev  Monday, August 30th.

Sleep late, leave Laughlin just after Noon. Arrive in Las Vegas at 4 PM. Check in at the Bellagio at 4:30. It is time for a well-deserved break. Holiday within the holiday begin when we pass the hotel's doors as we move from intollerable heat to sophisticated ACed environment, from a cranked and stinky RV to the profusion of space and tastes of the Bellagio.

Our Cypress suite is pretty amazing. What you would expect from a Vegas palace with toned-down kitsch. It is more expensive than the usual Vegas suite but still a pretty good deal compared to the treatment you usually get outside Vegas. In this new breed of resorts good dining such as Le Cirque are as expensive as their original counterparts but after a week of home-made sandwiches we deserve a break.
